A DUAL exhibition of local artistic talent is running at Bellshill Cultural Centre and Motherwell Concert Hall's Kuppas Cafe until Friday, September 19.

The two venues are hosting an eclectic mixed media show featuring the work of seven artists from across North Lanarkshire.

At Bellshill are the works of Caroline Sommerville, Alan Wylie, Christine Brown and Michael Traverse, while Motherwell hosts exhibits from Agnieszka Pitula, Claire McLachlan and June Neilson.

Both exhibitions are free, and showcase the depth of local talent and the variety of styles and mediums employed by those artists.

North Lanarkshire Council arts development officer (visual art) Geraldine Greene said: "The exhibition showcases work from seven very different artists whose work will complement each others in their distinctive styles."

For further information contact the arts development office on 01236 607419.
