BUDDING actors from North Lanarkshire Children's Theatre Group became jungle VIPs for their latest production.
For the youngsters brought the Jungle Book to life at Motherwell Theatre.
More than 40 children between the ages of five and 13 recreated the much-loved tale written by Rudyard Kipling, taking the roles of characters such as Mowgli, Baloo and Shere Khan.
The production, the culmination of a year of hard work, was hailed a success.
Drama classes for the new season will start back in New Stevenston Community Centre on Wednesday, August 27.
Classes run for five to eight-year-olds, and for nine to 12-year-olds, while a youth theatre runs for youngsters aged 13 years and over. New members are welcome.
